With over half a century of history, Castello di Monsanto has long been an influential producer, becoming one of the best-known wineries in Chianti Classico.
The Chianti Classico Il Poggio is unquestionably one of Tuscany’s top wines. Its site should be a prime candidate for the Tuscan equivalent of Grand Cru, should any classification ever be made

Join us for a live-streamed tour led by Laura Bianchi, Owner of Castello di Monsanto, and face-to-face tasting workshop moderated by Justin Chen, VIA Italian Wine Ambassador. Two great vintages of their legendary Il Poggio, the first cru of Chianti Classico produced since 1962, will be offered for comparison tasting. This is a truly special tasting experience and a must for Italian wine lovers.

- Justin founded Joy Palate Wine Academy in 2014 and had been the wine educator and wine consultant between Hong Kong and Guangzhou for the academy previously. He has a wide range of wine-related qualifications, including DipWSET, WSET Certified Educator, Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) Italian Wine Ambassador and VIA Certified Italian Wine Educator, Knight of Truffle and Wine of Alba, and was awarded a Runner-up at the Hong Kong International Top Tasters Competition by The Drinks Business in 2016.
