- How principal natural and human factors in the vineyard and winery can influence the style, quality, and price of wines
- Characteristics of key wine producing regions of the world
- Characteristics of sparkling wines of the world
- Characteristics of fortified wines
- Ability to provide information and advice to customers and staff members about wines

Ms. Anty Fung
A DipWSET, Certified Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine, Anty currently divides her time between managing Hip Cellar, a professional wine storage and a wine-and-dine concept AnOther Place, developing profile variety for the online wine trading platform WWXplorer and teaching WSET courses at MWM Wine School by Debra Meiburg MW. Anty has diversified her global understanding of wine and food and beverage management with professional exposure in Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Maldives.
Prerequisite
Completion of WSET Level 2 or equivalent recommended
All applicants must be over 18+
Course Structure
45 tutoring hours
- A mid term and mock exam will be included
Not less than 64 wines for tasting
WSET Level 3 Award in Wines Specification
Examination
Unit One (2 hours): Theory Examination
- 50 multiple-choice questions (part 1)
- 4 short written answers worth 25 points each (part 2)
Unit Two (30 minutes): Tasting Examination
- Blind tasting of two wines
- 55% passing grade for all papers and units of the examination
