WSET Level 1 – Wine Intensive

Want to be able to taste, enjoy, select, and assess wines with confidence and professionalism? Level 1 will answer these questions you may have:
- Why wines are wines? (How wine is made and main types of wine)
- Why a wine is different from the others? (Style of wines and what make a wine different)
- How to say why I like this wine? (Systematic approach to wine tasting)
- What wines to open during meals? (Basic principles of food and wine pairing)
- Having wines at home? (Wine storage tips and wine serving techniques)
Speaker:
Jack Cheung
Jack is the Group Beverage Director. With over 10 years of wine industry experience, he has worked in different sectors of the wine industry, including retail, wholesale and F&B. This experience has enabled him to acquire insights into different parts of the trade. Jack has also worked in Macau and Singapore where he assisted in opening new bar projects. Jack holds WSET Diploma Certificate, CS and International Kikisake-Shi qualifications.
