Squeeze your brain to differentiate climate, altitude and other influences on Cabernet Sauvignon in California!

You will be offered Cabs from some reputable wineries for a blind tasting learning experience:

• Robert Mondavi Oakville 2018
• The Prisoner Napa Valley 2019
• Barnett Spring Mountain District 2017

The course will begin with history of Napa Valley & Sonoma & terroir of its sub regions, followed with a blind tasting. Through step-by-step comparison of various elements by techniques such as WSET SAT / Deductive Tasting, you will need to identify the wines and defend your answers. Eventually, you would gain a much deeper understanding of the regions of California.

A DipWSET, Certified Sommelier and Certified Specialist of Wine, Anty currently divides her time between managing Hip Cellar, a professional wine storage and a wine-and-dine concept AnOther Place, developing profile variety for the online wine trading platform WWXplorer and teaching WSET courses at MWM Wine School by Debra Meiburg MW. Anty has diversified her global understanding of wine and food and beverage management with professional exposure in Hong Kong, Las Vegas and Maldives.
