Academy of Cheese Level 1 Associate Certification Course

Want to learn more about cheese? Then Level One is for you! Becoming an Associate of the Academy of Cheese is the first step to developing a greater understanding and appreciation of cheese.
The course will introduce you to the Academy’s own Structured Approach to Tasting and you will discover a range of tools to help you communicate more effectively about cheese. You’ll learn how cheese is made, how to assess quality, understand the provenance and range of cheese available. You will study and taste 15+ iconic cheeses before you’re ready to sit your online exam and gain your first Academy of Cheese certification.
Study Level 1 Associate Certification:
- Taste 15 cheese in classroom
- Get 1 year access to Level 1 online materials
- Get a delegate pack with 25 cheese profiles
- Take the exam to obtain Associate Certificate and lapel pin

Adolphus Foo, a highly experienced professional in the Food & Beverage industry, with over 30 years of expertise. He has held prominent roles, including Sommelier, Director of Wine and Beverage, and Director of Food & Beverage, in renowned establishments across Macao, Malaysia, and Singapore. He is accredited trainer for WSET, Sake Sommelier Association, Bordeaux Wine School and Academy of Cheese.
