Whisky Ambassador is designed for anyone who wishes to gain thorough knowledge and confidence around whisky. The program is recognised by BIIAB, UK’s leading provider of qualifications for the licensed trade. Upon completion, participants will get the prestigious The Whisky Ambassador’ BIIAB accredited certificate.

The Whisky Ambassador course covers:

• Whisky Areas of Scotland and influence to the Style
• History of Scotch Whisky
• Whisky Production, and the Categories of Whisky explained (single malt, single grain, blended, blended malt, blended grain)
• Other World Whiskies – 
• Nosing and tasting, in a systematic approach
• Whisky Mixers and Cocktails
• Whisky Sales Technique

At the end of the training, you can attend the exam to acquire The Whisky Ambassador Certificate. 

Prerequisite

All applicants must be over 18+

Examination

45 minutes Exam

30 multiple-choice questions (70% passing grade)
A practical tasting test

As Asia’s first Certified Spirits Educator by the Society of Wine Educators and a WSET Certified Educator, he has advanced spirits education throughout his career. Known for his deep expertise in Scotch and world whiskies, Eddie also judges international spirits and cocktail competitions. His passion for cocktail curation often sees him guest bartending across the region, inspiring and mentoring aspiring bar professionals along the way.
