Lesson 5Types and Styles of Prosecco DOC

Prosecco DOC comes in a variety of styles to suit every palate. Spumante, the most popular, features fine, persistent bubbles and sweetness levels ranging from Brut Nature to Demi-Sec, with a fresh, straw-yellow appearance and at least 11% ABV. Frizzante offers a gentler sparkle and slightly lower alcohol at 10.5% ABV. Tranquillo, the still version, shares the same ABV as Frizzante and retains the signature aromas. Prosecco DOC Rosé, exclusively Spumante, presents a pale pink hue, fresh taste, and 11% ABV. Each type reflects Prosecco’s hallmark aromas, balancing acidity and sweetness with consistent quality and charm.
