DESCRIPTION:A one day intensive training to gain solid knowledge of the principal grape varieties of notable regions. \nLearn about what is "terroir"\, and how grape-growing and winemaking options influence the style and quality of wines made in these notable regions: \nReds \n\nMerlot-dominated blend from right bank of Bordeaux of France\nCabernet-dominated blend from left bank of Bordeaux of France\nSyrah from Rhône of France\, compared with Shiraz from Barossa Valley of Australia\nGSM blend from Châteauneuf-du-Pape of France\nZinfandels from California\n\nWhites \n\nChardonnay from Chablis Premier Cru and Puligny-Fuisse of France\, compared with new world region\nSauvignon Blanc from Sancerre of France\, compared with Marlborough of New Zealand\nPinot Grigio from Italy \n\n16 wines will be offered for you to practise the systematic approach to wine tasting that is recognised across the wine industry.
