However\, starting from the 19th Century\, the glory of Montepulciano began to fade into obscurity and overshadowed by Chinati Classico and Brunello di Montalcino. However\, Poliziano is truly an exception\, who has been widely recognized as the leader of Vino Noblie di Montelpulciano for over 35 years and whose wines are undisputed examples of high quality Sangiovese that are among the finest red wines in all of Tuscany. \nIn this two-hour workshop\, our VIA Italian Wine Ambassador and Certified Italian Wine Educator – Justin Chen will guide you to explore the great history and terroir of Montelpulciano and taste 7 signature wines from Polizano including their internationally renowned cru - Asinone (with two vintages to compare) and another historic cru - Le Caggiole\, which was reintroduced in recent years. Their award-wining Super Tuscan wine – Le Stanze will also be tasted to offer you a complete experience of their top wines! Francesco Carletti\, third generation of the owner family of Poliziano will join the tasting though live-stream\, so a fantastic opportunity for you to meet him and listen to his first-hand input on the history\, viticulture and winemaking of Poliziano.
