No topic is discussed in isolation\, ensuring that students finish the course with context.\n\nThis course will include 18 hours of classroom instruction with tutored tasting taught by approved instructor and the following:\n\n 	The 315-page full-color Spanish Wine Scholar study manual\n 	1-year access to the Spanish Wine Scholar online study program for class preparation and review\n 	Registration for the Spanish Wine Scholar exam\n\n\n\nIn order to bring each region to life\, you will also taste a total of over 50 different wines over the course of the program.\nWho Should Attend?\n\n 	Wine professionals wishing to specialize in the wines of Spain\n 	Aspiring wine professionals looking to enter the wine industry with serious knowledge on the wines of Spain\n 	Serious wine hobbyists as well as those interested in Spanish culture and lifestyle\n\nPre-requisites?\nNo pre-requisites\, but strongly recommend that students have completed WSET Level 2 Award in Wines\, Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) or Court of Master Sommelier’s Introductory Sommelier Certificate (Level 1). \n\nWhat does the program cover?\n\n 	Fundamentals/Green Spain\n 	Duero River Valley\n 	La Rioja\n 	Ebro River Valley/ Central Mediterranean Coast\n 	Cataluña\n 	Meseta\n 	Andalucía\n 	Islands\n\nExamination\n\n 	90 minutes\n 	100 multiple-choice questions\n 	75% passing grade\n 	Students with a composite score of 85-90.5 pass with HONORS. He founded Joy Palate Wine Academy in 2014 and was the wine educator and wine consultant for Hong Kong and Guangzhou for the academy. Justin has a wide-range of professional qualifications\, including DipWSET\, WSET Certified Educator\, Vinitaly International Academy (VIA) Italian Wine Ambassador & Certified Italian Wine Educator\, Wine Scholar Guild Italian & Spanish Wine Scholar (Highest Honors)\, Knight of Truffle and Wine of Alba\, and was awarded a Runner-up at the Hong Kong International Top Tasters Competition by The Drinks Business in 2016.\n\n\n\nSpanish Wine Scholar:\n\nThe Spanish Wine Scholar™ education program is the most advanced and comprehensive certification course on the wines of Spain.
