With three brothers\, she mastered both viticulture and standing her ground. Her parents encouraged careers beyond winemaking\, so Séverine pursued law in Strasbourg. But after a few years\, she realized life was too short for paperwork.\n\nIn a bold move\, she relocated to England with two suitcases and no English skills. She quickly adapted to the restaurant world\, managing a venue for four years and honing skills in diplomacy and chaos management. Yet\, the vines called her back. In 2001\, she returned to Guebwiller as her father retired. Though they were too similar to work side by side\, Séverine found her place in the domaine. Her youngest brother later joined\, completing the family team.\n\nNow\, Séverine drives the domaine’s export sales and communications\, championing Alsace’s exceptional wines. In 2011\, she welcomed twins\, Basile and Clémence—her most rewarding “vintage” yet. Balancing motherhood and her role as the domaine’s dynamic force\, Séverine continues her mission to put Alsace wines in the global spotlight.
